Here is a rough guide to the activities we might enjoy during the day:
7.00am Arrivals, breakfast and quiet play
7.45am School run and pre-school runs
9.30am-11.30am Outing to park, toddler group or shops or an activity such as painting, messy play, playdough, creative play etc.
11.30am School/pre-school pick ups (if needed)
12.15pm-1pm Lunch (usually a hot lunch)
1pm-2.30pm Quiet time - naps for children who need them, group reading, beading, threading, CBeebies
2.30pm-3.30pm School pick up
3.30pm-4.30pm Own choice of toys . Children can play in the garden (weather permitting)
4.30pm tea/snacks, Quiet play including TV and videos until home time

My day varies depending on the weather (and whether or not we have a school/nursery run) and on what the children themselves would like to do. I am very flexible - if the weather is nice then we make the most of it and visit the park or play in the garden.
